Frequently Asked Questions

Does Medicare cover routine nail care?
Under strict guidelines, some patients may qualify for routine nail care. Please allow Dr. Anderson to evaluate your feet and other health conditions. If you are a new patient, your first visit will be covered by Medicare. Remember, most foot problems aside from routine foot care are a covered service such as infections, ingrown nails, injuries, etc. Please do not neglect other foot and ankle problems.
Is valet parking available?

Yes. Please call St. Mark’s Hospital for more information at 801-268-7111.

Who performs the surgeries?

Dr. Anderson will be your surgeon. He is highly qualified to perform all foot and ankle surgeries. During residency training at the University of Utah, Dr. Anderson performed well over 1,000 surgical procedures and saw over 2,000 clinic patients.

Are wheelchairs allowed and are they available during my office visit?

Yes. There are wheelchairs available at the main entrances to the hospital.

Do you have same-day appointments available?

Yes, however, these are usually for more urgent patients who have ingrown nails, infections, and trauma (broken bones, tendon/ligament injuries, etc.).
